Member Since August 2016

I graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 1965, served four years in the US Submarine Service, and then moved to Walla Walla in 1970. I retired as a Captain from the Walla Walla Fire Department in 1998. I was then hired as Chapter Manager for the Walla Walla and Colombia County Red Cross. Two years later I was offered (and accepted) a teaching job in Computer Techonology at Walla Walla Community College. After 16 years there I decided to retire and did so in December of 2016.

In high school I was very involved in band, choir, and orchestra. I was in a folk singing trio, jazz quartet, and dance band. I played trumpet, baritone, saxaphone, clarinet, guitar and string bass. I received two honors as a senior: drum major for the pep band and student conductor, and was selected for All Northwest Choir as a second tenor.

My wife and I met through a mutual friend. We have three beautiful daughters and eleven wonderful grandkids. My hobbies include gardening, fishing, camping, long distance bicycling, music and most importantly - family.

I have had a computer consulting business for 25+ years and enjoy working with audio and video, building websites and am currently the webmaster for the Choral Society.
