Jan Roberts has lived in the WW valley for two years after spending most of her life in the mission field of Africa and Indonesia. She’s a graduate of Walla Walla University with a nursing degree which was very helpful while living overseas. Making and listening to great music is a passion that runs deeply in her soul. She is currently an accompanist at Whitman College, Walla Walla University, Rogers Adventist School and John Sager Middle School and mentors Freshmen students at Walla Walla University.
Even though she lived overseas, she was able to continue with her musical pursuits and has organized and performed in more than 40 concerts thus maintaining her piano skills while raising three children and teaching many to play the piano and enjoy music too.
Terry Koch has been a member of the Walla Walla Choral Society for over 25 years, as a singer, librarian, director's assistant and assistant conductor.
Terry has degrees in music education and was an elementary/junior high school music specialist for 46 years. He also taught on the high school and college levels.
He feels that singing with the Choral Society provides a special fellowship with those who love the vocal arts and creates wonderful opportunities to make beautiful memories by sharing the gift of song with the community.
