We are excited to announce the formation of a new, auditioned vocal ensemble: the Walla Walla Master Chorus. 

This chamber ensemble will be comprised of 16–24 skilled singers with a passion for excellence in choral performance. Our mission is to establish a premier vocal ensemble in the Walla Walla Valley—one capable of delivering compelling, high-caliber music to our local community, and beyond.

This is more than a choir. It’s a vision.

We’re building an ensemble rooted in precision, artistry, and collaboration; performing repertoire that ranges from masterworks to modern gems. The Walla Walla Master Chorus will not only enrich the cultural fabric of our valley but also seek opportunities to perform in regional festivals, special events, and concert series throughout the Northwest and beyond.

Master Chorus Participation Expectations

As a member of the Walla Walla Master Chorus, you are part of a dedicated, high-level vocal ensemble representing the artistic excellence of our choral community. In order to support the mission and sustainability of the Walla Walla Choral Society as a whole, all Master Chorus singers are expected to participate in at least one of the two main Choral Society concerts during the season, in addition to Master Chorus commitments.

This expectation isn’t just about adding voices — it’s about contributing to the broader organization that makes the Master Chorus possible. Your presence in a main concert helps strengthen our community impact, balances ensembles, supports audience growth, and fosters unity between all levels of singers in the Society.

Participating in both a concert and the Master Chorus experience shows your commitment not only to musical excellence but also to the vibrant, collaborative spirit that defines the Walla Walla choral family.
